Shelly grew up in Antioch, CA. Her dad was a round track racer.

Shelly is no stranger to the racing world.

She has worn many hats between carpentry, truck driver, mechanic, Computer tech, splicer and armed guard.

Shelly completed a lot of education earning degrees in AA diesel technology, AA in computer electronics from Shasta College. Receiving a BS in industrial technology and a minor in business from Humboldt State University. Shelly finished her education at the University of Phoenix with a MA in Computer Technology.

In 2015, Dan had an El Camino, but he didn't like it. He began looking for another car and found this Vega. It needed some work and paint and that is what he did. He got it up and running  He didn't compete with it. He ran the street legals this first year. Felt the car was to slow so in 2016 he put a bigger engine in the car. Now it was to much engine. So he sold that engine and put a smaller engine back in. Still ran street legal trying to figure out what he wants to do to the car. He got it back halfed so he could put bigger tires on the car and a bigger engine back in. This is when he let Shelly start racing the car in 2020. Waiting to get that bigger engine in so he can race the car as he wants to go fast.
