About Us

I had watched drag racing since I was a kid. Never thought that I would be doing it.

Back in 2012 I went to a car show. I noticed this altered dragster that I just fell in love with. I started photographing it and the owner and crew came over and started talking to me. I started asking questions and they asked me if I would be their personal photographer and PR for the car.............I said I was interested. So they paid my way into the track and I started doing photos with them then it increased to being a BUG (back up girl) and working on the car and getting more involved. I was loving every minute of it. Then one day they told me to race my pickup. I said no way that is my transportation to and from work, I can't afford to break down. One day I had them come out to my house and they saw my sand rail. They told me to take that to the track and race it. I was in doubt that they would let me race it. They told me it was a run what you brung so I can race it if I wanted. So I got the buggy ready to go down the track. I took my first run down the track and was hooked.

I came back the following year, 2013, and raced in the NHRA sportsman class and the NASA (Nor-Cal Auto Sport Association) race as well as the BRS (Bug O Rama series).

In 2013, this was my first year of racing in competition. I made it to all races for the NHRA Summit Series and finished 5th overall. In the  NASA, race my first competition race I took Winner in VW Pro and VW Eliminator also had top qualifier. This gave me my first championship. Because of this I was asked to be a hired gun and race someone else's car at the Sacramento track for another race. This was for the BRS series. I liked the program so I entered into the class to race for points. I was holding 3rd place until I was unable to make the last race of the season and finished 6th overall.

I continued racing my buggy for the next several years 2014-2017. racing in NASA, NHRA and BRS. Usually finishing 7th in NHRA and taking wins and championships in NASA and BRS. I am the only driver in the NASA to have their name on the Top Eliminator trophy twice. I acomplished both wins in 2013 and 2015. This NASA top eliminator program didn't run races every year. I only raced in 3 of them. In 2014 I received runner up.

In 2018 and 2019 I did not race.

The year 2020 is when I started racing the dragon, a 1971 hatchback Vega. From this point I raced the NHRA program in the pro class. I was doing well holding 7th place in the class. In one of my rounds towards the end of the season the car racing me blew apart and the debris came over into my lane. I could not avoid it but it did manage to do damage to my car to where I could not make the last race of the season causing me to fall in points and finish in 11th.

The year 2021, I have goals to meet. My first race out I took 1st place. What a way to start the season. It was difficult to follow that energy. I made every race working hard to keep that first place in points. Getting discouraged watching my placement drop. I fell all the way to 4th place. I knew I had to go rounds to get back up in points. I was happy to run rounds and  finish in 3rd place.

My goal this coming year 2022 is to make it to finish in first place, make the big show in Vegas and race other tracks.
